RaceSpace is the first of the projects that were eyed up and conceptualized by The CJPnet Group back in late 2005. The original mission of the website was to bring the community of motor sports fanatics together on a social networking platform, accentuated by message boards, photo galleries, national racing news, blogging, classified sections, video and audio multimedia sections, and more.
The initial launch was promising, but the entire code was sloppy. The design left little room for modification and was terribly unstable. The website actually crashed the server within ten days of activity - but not due to traffic. The design was eventually destroyed and developers started from scratch.
This brought the team to the Joomla! platform. Since the switch, the developers have been throughly educated on the code, almost due to trial-and-error, and now have a strong hold on it's progress and development, as well as the downfalls and strengths of this powerful and flexible content management system.
Currently, CJPnet's flagship website is about to undergo some heavy duty changes and updates as it prepares for its 3rd and final launch. Although the website is the most coveted creation, it is also the most complex and feature-rich.
The anticipated re-launch date is October 31, 2008.

RaceSpace is on the verge of getting a major overhaul. We are plotting a huge, complete redesign of the website to accommodate the progression to "Phase 2" of the project.
The CJPnet Group is a firm believer in giving back to the community, and we will launch our first fundraiser to benefit a true gem of the Western NY community, the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
